It'd be a shame if this made its way to my inbox before my mailbox in vinyl form!

Yeah. They were selling the vinyl at their shows over the weekend so figured it would be up.

For me, the final chorus of “Totally Fine” that begins with the root chord, rather than an upscale chord, and then coupled with the gang vocals on the very last pass 1000% converted me on that song. It was like a combination lock. The guys hide such distinct, beautiful melody behind some broken glass angst, and it doesn’t show through on first listen. Try listening to it with that in mind and see if it kicks in more. It put everything into place for the current EP for me, and I’m hopeful that sound carries into the record.

All the reviews make me nervous in the best way. I haven't felt like this about an album I'm waiting on a release day for since NINE.

Halfway into my first listen and I already like this more than Morbid Stuff

I was revisiting all three LPs yesterday and while I love Morbid Stuff, I don't think it's a better record than The Dream is Over

exceeds expectations. I can't wrap my head around how different some of the singles feel as part of the whole in sequence, but maybe I'm just really excited.
