This is incredibly stupid and is having the opposite effect that WWE thinks it’s having. This would work if it was a genuine surprise, but everyone knows it’s Cody so it just comes off as annoying and built like shit when they could have been building this feud the last month.

(Though, also a great way to bring back Elias, especially if you let him keep his Drifter gimmick, as a swerve before Cody comes out)
