I remember seeing them in Pittsburgh on the One By One tour, Dave got halfway through “Tired of You,” said he thought the song was boring and the band launched into an acoustic version of “Times Like These.” It was a pretty wild audible.

I saw them twice while Dave was on his throne and one was a tight, professional set and the other was a fun as hell drunken mess where they covered like 10 classic rock songs.

Is there a list of which songs Taylor played on There Is Nothing Left To Lose?

In the bbc vid he says “Aurora,Breakout, MIA and a few others”

To be fair, each member has writing credits on all their songs post-TCATS I think because Dave wanted avoid any songwriting payment squabbles.

Seeing Taylor sing this at Lolla 2011 was great, top 3 concert for me all time. Regret not going last year even though was unsure with the Delta surge

Went to to local record store today. Owner said they completely sold out of FF’s discography the past couple days. Vinyl and CD’s.

It just struck me that a lot of people will become fans after first hearing about this band due to Taylor’s death.

  18. I don’t think will be hearing about them for the first time, but maybe just giving them a real proper listen rather than just the greatest hits album or something.

One by One had so many bad reactions that it tainted my opinion of it. But I revisited it recently and it friggin rocks. Low is one of my favorite FF songs.

I really hope that The Grammys take the Foo’s original time slot and dedicate it to a tribute performance

Would never want to rush anyone into anything, but would Dave maybe perform an acoustic tribute?

In the grand scheme of things it doesn’t matter and maybe Taylor and/or everyone in Foo Fighters doesn’t give a shit about football, but it always was talked about each year in the nfl thread how baffling it was that they never were the Super Bowl halftime show.

They have more than enough well known hits to fill the time slot and I always assumed they would play it in like 25 years because the nfl is always decades behind the times. And maybe they still will if they continue on but sucks that they didn’t get to experience that because even if it’s not something they wished to do, that still would have been a cool experience to add to their list of accomplishments
