Also, if you do another mock-up, add Quicksand!

They were kind of one of those bands I added just to get to 90

I think on the last big tour they did, they played 30 minutes.. so at Riot the most they'd play is 45 minutes which even if you just have 1 or 2 hit songs, if you actually try it's plausible

I'm gonna wait another month if I do #2, I tried to do a mixture of bands on tours, bands without Chicago dates, bands that play Riot multiple times (and then I think I only got to 65)

unless Riot releases their lineup earlier than usual then mock #1 will be my first and last lol

honestly at best I think I'm 30-35% right on the lineup

also props to people that do these mocks with daily lineups, just coming up with 90 bands isn't that easy.. splitting it into 3 days, I'll leave that to people better at this than me

I just posted that mock on Reddit. Excited to see what they think.

If 3Oh!3 got a 30 minute set with 2 hits, Wheatus can pull a 30 minute set too.

Love so much of this. Only note, I believe Evan said their shows at Sleeping Village a couple of weeks ago would be their only Chicago shows of the year. Maybe Pet Symmetry or T/T/T though?

Placebo is opening for MCR in some of their UK shows, I feel even more confident that Placebo is playing Riot

They have open dates Friday & Saturday of Riot before they go to Brooklyn for two shows... my best guess is they play Friday

  12. No Trigger is probably out (playing Reggies in June) but at least they're coming through Chicago this year.

If they're opening the UK dates for MCR and are open on Friday, I think them playing the same day as MCR feels pretty likely.

Hah, was just going to post this! I'm so stoked they're playing a MA show too -- and with Heart & Lung, no less!

Also pretty sure they signed to Red Scare and will have new music on the way pretty soon...

Something tells me they’re gonna be like “this is a one time only” thing just to boost tickets. Not to mention that this is kinda a nostalgia festival anyway

At the 2000 Trees Festival in the UK they are doing an album play for Vheissu, two different album plays in the same year. But Im surprised they are not doing a The Artist In The Ambulance album play somewhere

I’ve seen thrice so many times that they have fallen off my must see list at fests, but oh man, an artist in the ambulance album play immediately push them back to the top

I’d travel for a AITA album-play. One of my all-time favorites

A lot less album plays than last year too. I went last year instead of Riot & it was an absolute blast, but I've already committed to Riot this year & most likely every year for the foreseeable future.

  23. Love the Furnace Fest lineup and I hope we get a lot of crossover. Hidden In Plain View is the biggest surprise on there for me. Had no idea they were active at all.

I kinda stopped caring about seeing Thrice live. I still listen to all of their albums and mostly love them, depending on my mood but... A lot of it just doesn't do it for me live.

But man, an Illusion of Safety play would be killer! That or AITA would be the greatest. I'm now daydreaming about them playing either of those at the Vagrant tour stop in MA... Despite neither being put out by Vagrant. Haha.

Artists I'd love to see at Riot Fest (who didn't play last year/recently): Descendents, Midtown, Elliot, Drug Church, Lagwagon, A Wilhelm Scream, Strike Anywhere, Angel Du$t, Stretch Arm Strong, Strung Out

Lots of really awesome bands in the mix! Elliot playing False Cathedrals will be transcendent. That record is beyond underrated.
