Absolutely, but because of the interstate commerce clause it was legally unenforceable against players who didn't live/work in New York City

 

Ah I see, I didn’t know there was a legal case about it. I don’t see how the interstate commerce clause works that way (it usually applies when the federal government is forcing something on the states) but just more conservative judges making policy decisions I presume while our elected officials pretend judges are not political.

 

There shouldn't be a rule singling out a single player when you don't check to see if the entire population cramming through the doors has vaccination cards or even masks. If they were checking every person at the door, go off fam. But to not stop every person from entering is a crock of shit. So poorly managed.

Every single person on NY sports radio is fucking livid about the rule. They feel betrayed that the mayor of the city is actively trying to stop them from winning a championship lol.

And in fairness, no arena in NJ, PA, or NY has checked for shit in the last two months, probably more.

 

If you live in Michigan and have auto insurance, check your mail for the refund check. I assumed it would be direct deposit but dumb old me found out it’s not.

Can you honestly say more than 100 people on earth have installed that app

 

I hate that this check feels like blood money though. What is happening to the people that sustained injuries from auto accidents that they will be dealing for the rest of their life is really gross. Not to mention that this change in the law did not even really lower our insurance and we have a cost increase pretty much across the whole state coming so they way this was framed as saving consumers money is not factual.

 

I have it installed but it's terrible.
