At Boston Calling in 2019 all the big Twenty One Pilots fans ran to the mainstage to get front row for them only to have Turnstile be the first band on that stage that day

A lot of good and a lot of bad on there. I didnt even realize the Jane's Addiction mention at the bottom. That's pretty cool! I'd imagine that it's billed like that because they aren't big enough to headline anymore, but due to Perry being Lolla's founder they wanted special placement. I expect they'll close the Bud Light stage one night and Kygo will just close Perry's stage.

Crazy that we live in a world now where MGK is a Lollapalooza headliner, but it's still cool that in 2022 we have 3 rock headliners (4 if you include Jane's).

That third line is a complete bore to me. But Charli XCX and Turnstile getting high billing is awesome! And woah, Meet Me @ The Altar getting on this is huge!

 

And I guess this pretty much confirms Avril for Riot Fest.

 

What’s the actual daily attendance for Lolla? I know it’s a major fest but I’m not familiar.

 

100k a day is what they usually bring in

last years attendance was somewhere between 385k-400k for all 4 days combined

 

Weird that LØLØ is the only Sad Summer artist on the lineup. I wonder if any other SSF bands will be in Chicago around that time frame.

It makes me sad that MGK and Green Day have the same amount of monthly listeners. Confirms that Green Day is in full on heritage act mode.

Hatebreed/Jesus Piece/Cognitive just announced a May 16th date in Virginia Beach. Looks like it's just an off-date from their Parkway Drive tour, but it's a whole lot better than suffering through the rest of that package in 2022.
