Would it be better to go beforehand then? Like are they available during the show or only after?

I'd echo a lot of this for the CT show on Sunday. I liked Stray From The Path more than I expected. Bad Omens had a lot of production value, to the point where I was wondering how many backing tracks they had. It wasn't off-putting for me, but it was obvious. Spiritbox sounded worst to me (and definitely thinner after Bad Omens), but also the crowd was easily most into them. There were multiple chants of their name and lots of merch around. Underoath sounded really great, especially Spencer. They had some of "I'm Pretty Sure I'm Out Of Luck And Have No Friends" instrumental playing between songs, but didn't do the whole thing. I wish "We're All Gonna Die" had been in the main set instead of the soundcheck, but it was otherwise a pretty good set.

They were out for the entire show, but I didn't want to hold it in the middle of the crowd. I imagine you shouldn't have any problem getting one before their set, but the utility of that might depend on how you plan on watching the show haha.

nearly identical experience in Cleveland. Definitely an exodus at the back of the theater after spiritbox. Interestingly, probably like 70% of the crowd said it was their first UO show. Maybe it’s just an unusual circumstance given how much spiritbox blew up since the tour was announced but I hope the crowd dispersal isn’t a bad omen (heh) for selling future tours. I saw people trashing bad omens a lot online but I thought they put on an entertaining show and seemed to pique some interest.

Not sure if this is a spoiler but aside from Voyeurist you can probably guess just about every song and their order on the setlist. Great show but I think we’re done with setlist surprises

Yes! I forgot to mention that. I’d say it was a little over 50/50 in Boston, with the favor going everso slightly to first show. I was so surprised.

Wow I want to hear Cycle with the bridge UO wrote. Sounds cool in the clip they played and probably doesn't feel like it drags on for way too long like the Ghostmane feature. My only gripe with that song really.

Astounding how well this album is holding up with all the initial delays, long promotion, and now post-promotion youtube stuff. Has really been a huge part of my 2022 listening STILL.

"Lose the country thing it's not your solo stuff" just killed me hahaha (Spencer to Aaron in regards to vocal takes).

I think a lot of the crowd leaving is kinda what happened to Thursday back in the late 00s/early 10s in that they stopped touring with certain bands that "made sense." That Taste of Chaos with BMTH comes to mind. I don't think we'd see the same problem with ETID still as support for this one, since their fan groups overlap a lot more than Spiritbox, I imagine.

I actually don’t think it drags on too long but I will agree that this album is holding up really well. It’s slowly becoming my favorite Underoath record ever despite my gripes with some production choices.

My show is tonight! Hoping to wait around back and have them sign my record.

Feels like I've been waiting for this for a half a year. Oh wait...

I know, the St. Pete show is one week from tomorrow. It feels like I have been waiting an eternity! My hype has not lessened at all though.

I think Spiritbox makes sense as a band to tour with also, their sounds aren’t as different as like Thursday and BMTH lol  Not sure if that’s what you meant

Kinda meant generationally. I’m excited they’re touring together, but I’m sure a lot of nostalgia heads have never heard of them and their younger fans not knowing the “old” band.

I think it’s a nice mix of what’s current in the scene right now.
STFP have a new record coming and their drummer has a very popular podcast.
Bad Omens just released a new record.
Spiritbox are on the hype train right now and draw a lot ticket sales I’m sure. Especially following the release of their record last year and the tour with Limp Bizkit (albeit short).

Underoath did a good job picking their openers.

Well I absolutely rocked out last night on the upper balcony. Got the tour variant, and then was able to get it signed by the band. They all noticed me as the dude losing his shit on the balcony. I had met them a couple times before which was great because both Tim and Chris remembered me which was awesome.

Really hope them incorporate Numb in the future, but Aaron said they wanted to limit the amount of new songs because they felt like they'd lose the crowd. Regardless, they killed it tonight and I loved the spread across their Discog of songs. I wish I could see them every night.

Would love if anybody could PM some pointers on where to find the Observatory live stream videos now that they have disappeared from the shop. I was looking to buy them today and I'm needing them on a bad mental health day and some assistance would be sooo appreciated :concerned::heart:

Went to both when each tour came to LA and loved the uo tour more. The production was more professional & everything sounded better. Could be the venues.
