I get what dudes saying about yanks fans overreacting but this ain't it. Chappy was almost certainly still recovering from injury in 2021 and even if he wasn't it's still just one season. From 2017 to 2021 Chapman has a higher OPS+ than Gallo and has 300 more PAs. Cut out 2021 and his OPS+ is about 35 points higher lol.

Plus Chapman plays a much more difficult defensive position and so is obviously more valuable. And he only debuted in the majors midway through 2017 whereas Gallo has been at least up and down some since 2015. Think if one of them has untapped upside it's Chapman

It’s also comforting to know Chapman has historically been a better hitter in Toronto than he has been at the Coliseum

The MLB released the rescheduled games and it turns out the weekend I’m going to Seattle is now a doubleheader on Saturday. I’ve never done a day night doubleheader before but should be fun. Super stoked for three games in two days.
