    Yeah, it was a mess.

    The story that was told is that their bassist at the time confessed to plagiarizing a bunch of musicians from YouTube; he claims on accident. Basically he recorded himself covering their work while also recording his own work and didn't label what was what, so when he presented his recordings to the band, some of the covers were mixed in.

    Volz, the vocalist, claims he knew nothing about it because he only does the lyrics and writes to whatever the band presents him. The bassist also claimed full responsibility, and left the band.

    Is that what really happened? Who knows. Wild that it did though, even in that form.

    If you're into '90s pop and R&B, the band MICHELLE's album "After Dinner We Talk Dreams" is great. Perfect spring album.
