I've been trying to get a shiny Corsola or Heracross, but no luck.

 

I just meant the only shiny I got was red Gyarados lol

my only shinies yesterday were Chansey, Sudowoodo, and Gyrados

 

learned the hard way that incense are back to once every five minutes.

 

The incense nerf is a really huge bummer. I don't have a lot of opportunity to go out and walk around, and regular spawns are really infrequent at my apartment

 

Same here. It was pretty much no different than normal for where I am.

 

apparently it lasts longer though, so total spawns isn't a huge difference? Either way, that's annoying and hopefully it changes back.

you guys weren't kidding, I just popped on an incense while in work meetings and it's unreal how bad the spawn rate is.

i suck at this game. i have research where i need to defeat a team rocket leader. all i can find are grunts. what gives?

 

well, do you have your rocket radar on?

 

beat six of them and then you can find a leader. Leaders are guaranteed in balloons once you have the radar and rotate daily at stops.

 

Do you have a rocket radar in your item bag? You have to have one active to find the rocket leaders. If you don't, like Henry said, beat 6 regular grunts and you'll get one.

I’ll be able to get the Pu’a and Sensu variants. My favorites so that’s cool.
