Apparently Sean Penn is in Ukraine filming a documentary about the conflict

 

In hindsight, he was probably working on a plan to aid Putin in this with the Hunter Biden red herring but that fell apart when he got voted out.

 

My read is this probably actually wouldn't have happened with Trump in office, but just because he would let Trump play out his term to continue pulling troops out of Europe and alienating NATO and then wait to make a Dem look bad

my amateur understanding of it is if they do it, that means they wouldn't be able to buy anything from Russia because there'd be no way to do financial transactions with them. So that means also no natural gas/oil. And Germany basically would be taking on a world of hurt if that were the case
