This statement is way more professional and tells a completely different message. Maybe counterparts are just babies!?

Still think it was unprofessional to leak the news. Regardless if your Twitter presence is mostly shitposting.

People aren't entitled to anything, no matter how much they think they are. That said, it is really shitty for Buddy to use his child as a cop-out, pretending like that was an unknown when he is just going for the better offer that came about.

people more mad at some shitty tweets than Senses Fail for screwing over 2 small bands who really needed this tour after the pandemic.
Especially with an excuse that flimsy.

It's one thing to be empathetic with Buddy, but it's a whole other thing to not realize the repercussions of his actions.

You would think Buddy threw an old woman down the stairs based on some of these reactions lol my goodness some of you are delusional.

I don’t think people should be assuming it’s a cop out. He genuinely may have considered time at home with the new child as one of the reasons to do what he did, and it’s a weird look to just abruptly call it a cop out with only speculation and assumption being your reasoning.

    roamer. wanderer. nomad. vagabond.

i think this was just a series of (un)fortunate events that led to this. as a business, why tour for a new album that just got delayed months? as a man, why tour when your second child is about to be born?

bands DO have a right to be upset that the tour was cancelled. however, this shouldn't be taken personally by anyone. this is business.

Idk, I'm expecting a child in April, I have done what I'll need to for work to make sure my coworkers won't be screwed when I'm gone. I've also known about the timing of this for a while now...I'm also not asking my coworkers to carry my slack while I'm out looking for a better job.

Just a thought, but Buddy's Dad literally left him when he was a child and his mum recently passed away. Why wouldn't you do everything in your power to be there for your family in this instance?

I'm not saying he's not being thoughtful to his family, but in November when this was announced he would have known the time his child was likely being born. That didn't stop them from going through with the tour and waiting four months to cancel it. It was because within that time they got a better offer that worked better for the family and band. Not negating that, but it does screw over the other bands on the bill.

I think the band's position was swayed way more for a better tour offer and money than it was his child's birth, if this tour was in the works since November, and only cancelled recently.

Without looking at his IG post, didn't he say that him and his wife literally didn't know she was pregnant around that time?

I'm going crazy thinking about this, so I'm gonna just dive back into background haha.

Maybe, I don't know tbh. Seems kinda late if the child is due early March.
