Stoked to see Thousand Below have a headliner but they are playing so what so I may have to skip it sadly

Soooooo many good shows at Showplace, live about 15 minutes away and had no idea they were still having shows there.

I liked that one song from the new HAM (delicious acronym) EP, but thought the rest was really bad

    And yeah, insufferable online presence

    Fuck Senses Fail

Edit: tweet was deleted but basically they canceled their tour with a bunch of smaller bands at the last minute to do a bigger support tour, effectively fucking over said smaller bands who haven't toured in 2 years

Weird the tweet has now been deleted. It’s super weird to imagine Senses Fail dropping that tour for another tour considering that tour has been announced for a long time.

I wonder what tour SF is doing now. I’m assuming it has to be support for a bigger band? Otherwise this makes little sense.

  16. They’re an opener now for another lineup. Definitely a bigger band. But still incredibly shitty to do that to Counterparts, WCAR and SYSC

Bummer. Was so excited for Senses Fail and Counterparts. Shitty move by SF, but really wonder which band they are opening for that made them drop their own tour.

Yeah that’s really shitty to bail on a coheadliner that’s been announced for months and to leave those bands without anything to do after two years of nothing. I wonder if ticket sales had anything to do with it. The Portland venue was way too big for this show and I could see WCAR/SF not selling that well in general.

Feel like senses fail has fucked over numerous of bands before but maybe I’m trippin.

incredibly fucked up to do though

The only other time they had issues was the whole font thing with Bad Omens which seemed more like Bad Omens tripping over nothing.

nah the more info that got released about that the more clear it became that senses fail fucked them over. It wasn't just font on a poster, it was their set time, their pay, the amount of merch designs they were allowed to bring, etc.

basically they signed a contract to be direct support to the headliners and when the tour got announced they got treated as a standard opener

    This tweet was also deleted.

But yeah. That’s a shitty move on SF’s part to bail on the tour like that. I feel awful for the rest of the bands on that bill :(

I hope they can all maybe try and get some new shows in place of that tour. That hardly seems fair

Ah gotcha. That sounds like a ton of miscommunication among the bands managers or whoever booked the tour. I assume Amity might have been part of that as well. Seems weird Bad Omens would even be direct support for that tour since they were not that popular and direct support on a coheadlining tour is rather rare.

Either way it sucks to see bands get fucked by other bands.

Well guess I can stop dragging my feet on buying tickets to that SF/WCAR tour lmao. I do feel bad for the rest of the bands though (and the people who did already buy tickets. Saw someone on the Counterparts thread say they were coming from Germany for it. ) Honest question though here, what's to stop WCAR from continuing the tour themselves? They already had the venues booked obviously and it was a co-headliner so I would think it would be just as much their tour as It was Senses Fail's. They could even add another band or two if they wanted to.
