mine is already downloaded and the update is being installed, less than 10 minute download (but 1.1 GB DL)

 

ha. Mine jumped to 5 hours.

iMessage apps will be the best feature no one will use and it's a shame.

 

dl was pretty quick, installing now

 

i downloaded mine but then it went into recovery mode, uh oh

now it's trying to redownload 9.3.5? this isn't good

same but I think the general user will overlook it, not realizing what is possible or what they can do. hopefully I'm completely wrong though.

30 minutes. Awesome. I'm hoping this is going to be the update I'll finally enjoy using iMessage over others.

 

WARNING:

iOS 10 is bricking A9 chipped iPhones. 6S and 6S Plus phones are being bricked.

Apple done diddly did it this time.

 

I'm sorry but what is an "over the air" update?

 

When you update the OS through the Settings app over Wi-Fi. The alternative to the OTA update is plugging in and updating through iTunes.

what about A8 chips? it's installing now

 

iOS was the smoothest download and install I've ever had for a major update. watchOS has been downloading for 20 minutes and still has an hour to go.

 

stickers are fun as a novelty.

 

iOS 10 update bricked my phone methinks. making me plug it into iTunes (at work, no comp here) idk what to do.

still so dumb that apple music recommends me albums i already have, especially now that its recommending me music that it also tells me i have in heavy rotation

 

The iOS update is so intimidating. Whenever it changes as much as it is going to this time, I always dread it. I'm not good with change, and just feel so overwhelmed with everything. Hopefully it doesn't take long to adjust.

 

Yeah, it doesn't make any sense. My Music is the only tab I use for Apple Music.
