What happens to me that I have this opinion in your/our present/future timeline?

 

You eat at Taco Bell for something other than breakfast.

 

I've tried soooooooo many times to like Taco Bell. It's such an enigma to me. It really does amaze me because I keep going back despite the fact that everything I've ever had there has been objectively bad. I guess the fact that there's such a cult fandom for TB makes me want to like it, so I keep trying, but every time I pull up I think to myself "you're going to regret this. why not go to ANY other place?" and 100% of the time I leave wishing I'd have just starved instead.

Taco Bell breakfast is good

McDonald's breakfast is good

Burger King is bad all around.

Taco Bell's good items aren't the ones people talk about. It's the 7 layer burrito, the Chunchwrap Supreme, the normal Chalupa or Gordita, burrito supreme, beef soft taco, and bean burritos.

Not Doritos Tacos Locos, not anything with cheese goop.

 

Crunch wrap has cheese goop and is godly

 

Canada Taco Bell has the Fries Supreme which is so good

I've been trying to explain why I sort of like Taco Bell but I really can't. Like, it's cheap and the food is fine is all I can come up with.

 

It serves no purpose! Real Mexican is just as cheap and a million times better.

 

Ya'll need to get the spicy with american. best thing there. also, chik-fil-a has cherry coke out of a regular fountain, not that free style bullshit. +10000000000000 points for that.

 

The thing is, you don't go to Taco Bell for real Mexican food. Just like you don't go to Panda Express for real Chinese food.

You go there to eat the shitty American interpretations of those foods.

I've been stoned probably 100% of the time I've been at Taco Bell

I've come to that conclusion long ago and should stand by it. For some reason, unbeknownst to myself, I still keep thinking that "this is gonna be the one time that I finally get why everyone like this place" but it never happens.

High every time. I've probably been drunk at least a handful of times.

 

Freestyle is a plus anywhere that has it. Vanilla Root Beer motherfucker.

I think this may be a regional thing too. Texas has an abundance of Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants at all price points. Like you said, no reason to go to Taco Bell to save money or be convenient, when there are so many other options. Probably not the same way in other parts of the country though.
