I really, really hope they add a fourth day on the 30th. As exhausting as it'd be, I'd love to see this lineup twice.

I'm so pressed I decided to be a responsible adult and not get tickets because I just moved and it'll take a bit for my finances to settle.

    Bright Eyes
    Manchester Orchestra
    La Dispute
    Wolf Alice
    The All-American Rejects
    Jimmy Eat World

I’m already seeing 4 of those this year so I’m not stressing too hard about conflicts. Just have to be there haha.

The only acts I’ve never seen that I’m really looking forward to crossing off my list are Avril, Bright Eyes and The Maine.

On top of those I’m most pumped for MCR, Paramore, Starting Line, Jimmy Eat World and Wolf Alice.

Bright Eyes just seems like such a major outliner here.

I've never seen Paramore, The Story So Far, & BMTH, so I'm praying they don't conflict.

I'm also pumped to see some of my Top 15 favorite bands including Dance Gavin Dance, Silverstein, Neck Deep, State Champs, & PVRIS.

I would be more interested in seeing TSSF in 2022 if Parker did not form a band last year with a sexual assaulter

I really wish Acceptance will do most of their older stuff. I can't even listen to their new material.

Like for real, prioritizing is going to be so tough, imagine picking one band over 2 other bands you really want to see and then there setlist bums you out.

I really do wonder how nostalgia heavy the sets are going to get. For a lot of the bands that haven’t been relevant in a decade+ they’ll clearly play the classics, but I think stuff like Danger Days and After Laughter are going to be represented more than people who are only going for the nostalgia think. Lot of people are going to be surprised when Paramore doesn’t just play Riot front to back lol

    MCR

    Paramore
    AAR

7-10 bands that rarely tour/haven't seen in a while
    The Starting Line
    AFI
    Alkaline Trio
    Story of the Year

The streaming numbers on both Danger Days and After Laughter are pretty massive. I think the crowd will be pretty familiar with all that material.

But I think if a band like Taking Back Sunday plays a set heavy on post 2010 material they'll get a lot of crickets.

  21. I assume the bands know what the fans of this festival want, and so they'll play mostly nostalgic jams and then mix in some newer stuff in case some of the people watching weren't aware of their newer music. I mean... like pretty much any other show by any of these bands.

You mean Armor For Sleep won't do a Smile For Them album play?

  23. I hope they play a new song and say they have a new album coming out.

But yeah, they'll most likely just play stuff off of WTDWYAD and then one or two songs from DTMB. I haven't seen them in a million years, so I'll take it!

I guess I’m mainly curious about which artists that won’t be doing that. For example, I could see Manchester Orchestra’s set being almost exclusively MMOG/ABMTTS just like the rest of their tour.

  25. I wouldn't really know since I'm not a fan, but I assume Manchester Orchestra isn't the type of band that people at this festival are looking to see for nostalgia sake. They seem like a band that fans are happy to see play whatever. I think Bright Eyes will also just play whatever they feel like.

But then bands like Taking Back Sunday, Armor For Sleep, etc will just play all the hits.
