guys, what is that playing in mark's snapchat? it sounds like guitar is about to come in right when it cuts out.

I'm gonna be really upset if someone tells me that it's the theme to dr who or some other show I don't watch haha

So we thinking album in June?

June would make sense. Solid month after the release of the first single, right when the tour is set to start.

I was speculating with a friend yesterday about what kind of venues they'd play on this tour. He thinks they'll still be doing the 15k amphitheaters....honestly I think those days are behind them.

Nah, I think they can definitely still play amphitheaters. I mean, they were literally just playing those big venues in 2014 before tom left, and they haven't had this much buzz around them since their reunion. I'd actually be surprised if they weren't playing big venues.

They're better off playing HOB midsized venues

I can't imagine blink not playing outside on a summer tour.

Yea, there's no way they're only playing midsized venues. There's so much hype surrounding them right now and honestly, just the name "blink-182" is enough to play the big amphitheaters.

Yeah, I'm real curious to see the venue sizes. I can't see them selling out a 15,000 venue right now. But I could be completely wrong. If new music is as strong as we'd like it to be, maybe they can. All I know is I will be wherever they play if/when they come to Boston!

What better way to start of the new life than with a post in the blink thread. Stoked as usual.

They'll do a summer tour in between these festivals. Probably starting late June early July. Definitely playing amphitheaters.

If Mark is staying true to the "no new music will be played live until the album is released", then we could have this album out on June 3 (new Friday release).

    Things have changed.

There's no way they're doing HOBs.

    Amphitheaters.

  18. I'd pay shitty amounts of money to see them at a small venue. Hell, play in my fucking bedroom!

A small venue Blink tour would rule, only thing that would suck is that tickets would most likely sell out quick as hell and they'll be re sold for ridiculous prices on StubHub. But I see them most likely doing Amphitheaters, especially on a tour to support their new album. But somewhere down the line i could see them doing a smaller venue tour, as like a thank you to the fans, kind of playing similar venues like they played on those warm up shows last year.

Can you imagine the chaos that would ensue if blink played a house show in Utah?

Blink usually played the 15,000 seat Jones Beach theater when they'd come to NY. I'm gonna guess this tour they'd do 1 night at the new Coney Island theater (6,000) and 1 night at Central Park Summerstage (5,000).

Good for Tom and all, but comparing your work to the caliber of Star Wars, Batman, and Marvel in your first answer to the first question makes it hard for me to get on board. Cool subject matter, definitely captivating, but presented in a way I'm having a hard time caring about.
