  1. Could also be that a band member is unvaccinated and it's all just PR posturing too unfortunately

The rabid fans are responding to people complaining saying that Rob Thomas’ wife has health issues and is high risk, but he also performed and promoted his Christmas album during the holidays.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

A lot of people on the Deftones subreddit are convinced it’s gonna get postponed again. Someone is also convinced that they’re also breaking up lol. So I would take it with a grain of salt

Stephen Carpenter's got some pretty uhh... out there views on COVID and vaccines (and like everything else). So if it gets postponed and/or canceled I'd wager it being because of him not being vaccinated.

Unsure about how I feel about this currently, but I expect policies to be rolled back in a lot of places soon

    Things have changed.

I'm not sure anyone is under the impression that Eve6 in the year of our lord 2022 is going to draw more than like, a couple hundred people a night.

You wouldn’t think so, yet the venues they booked are quite large. I think they’re gonna end up playing to a lot of less-than-half-full rooms

I'd imagine a one-off festival set as a solo artist where you aren't headlining is probably far less stressful than a headlining tour with your full band.

I saw The Color 8 at 8123 Fest a few weeks ago & I really really hope everyone gets to this tour early to catch them, you won't regret it

For all the venues I've been to, the policies were a joke anyway. They check the 'vaccine' cards in a way that means if they're being monitored, they looked and can't get in trouble, but they didn't give a shit otherwise (and I went to about 4-5 venues). I know a few people who download a blank vaccine card, and scribbled on it and got in just fine and in the dozen shows between July and the end of last year that I went to, masks were worn by less than a quarter of the people (and that's being generous, it was probably more like 10%). If anyone is now worried about this and considering not going to shows now, I'd rethink what your risk actually was when you went before (and by that I mean it was always a risk, it will remain a risk, 'covid policy' or not and you weren't any safer than you were before).

I like this venue but it's FAR from the city. It's one of the benefits of NYC in that the B/C market tours usually will still stop on LI. That aside, seems a bit early to lift these restrictionsd. This is giving me deja vu of last May when the mask mandates went away temporarily at it seemed too early to do so.

they already didn't have a mask or vaccine mandate haha, it was vaccine or negative test the 2 times I went there this fall and only a quarter of the audience was wearing masks
