On Instagram live Ronnie from As It Is mentioned they're planning a US Headliner and said they're booking dates in North Carolina and Dallas, Texas.

I just saw in 2009 there was a No Doubt, Paramore, Katy Perry, Janelle Monae, Panic! At The Disco tour....how the hell did I miss that one?

Yeah, I'm probably their biggest defender and I also don't think the demand's there right now.

Idk though, they were able to pull approx 300 people when I saw them in 2017, I saw they pulled around 500 on some dates of their 2019 tour, however that was the peak of their popularity, so those numbers probably wouldn't translate post-pandemic.

I listened to Holy Shit the other day for the first time in years and that album never got enough love as it deserved. So good.

Maybe the Set It Off tour would get them a couple of new fans, in Chicago more people were sining along to them than Stand Atlantic who are the main support of the tour, but still dont think they will play any big rooms

    Things have changed.

Because clearly not all those bands played together. It was a No Doubt headlining tour with different openers.

Tour must not be selling well. This is moving from a 1500 capacity venue to a 700 capacity venue

It should be at a 300-cap room. If that.

They’ll probably play it off like “we wanted to have a more intimate venue for a better fan experience! ;)”

Shaky Knees schedule just came out today. Looks like Japandroids and Travis both dropped, along with a few others.

Hopefully Japandroids wind up doing a "Celebration Rock" tour later in the year.

Same reason DRUGS tour was cancelled a few months ago unfortunately. I'm going & I know plenty of people who are, but idk that it's gonna be a good turnout

I call that "Bizkiting." They're in a different position now, but I remember reading this statement back in 2010 and being like "Or just, y'know, your ticket sales suck."

I think Travis nixed their whole US 2022 tour. Not sure if it's a COVID thing or poor sales (might be the latter as I'm not sure if there are enough anglophiles to fill 2-3k rooms across the US).
