Really enjoying The Boogie Monster, it's pretty much a less disastrous Real Life Sci-Fi, which I still love even though every other episode is a total slopjob. More paranormal/crypto/conspiracy podcasts from tolerable hosts please.

 

So today I found out my American Government professor is Rachel Feinstein's father. He casually mentioned that his daughter was a comedian and that she had played MSG last night, and then I remembered that she was opening for Louis CK on this tour and then realized that they had the same last name. After going through her Instagram I sure enough found a picture of her and him

A local comedian here that is on a local podcast was just on the DLM from Orlando. I thought he was funny but I'd like to know what people outside of this circle thought, haha. I only ever listen to DLM if I know/like the guests now.

 

Downloaded for Bo since I don't listen to YMIW regularly, but are the episodes normally 3+hrs. long?

 

Episode was alright, he didn't really stand out to me at all outside of everyone making fun of his local references.

 

Heh. that's kinda a running joke about the show. There was a time where 3 was very normal for YMIW. If I remember right they've had a few 4 hours episodes too. They've been around 2 hours lately though.

 

Every time he yells at the audience or gets frustrated with guests or UCB has a poor turnout, I think Doug has to be considering winding the thing down. Not that I want him to.

 

Some eps are at least 2. 3 are usually with guests that are good friends with Pete or that have really deep convos.

His episode with Hassan Minaj (sp?) from The Daily Show was really, really good.

 

I'm enjoying Mike Hanford's John Lennon podcast so far.
