The Chargers are kind of worse because they appear good from the outside but there is a lot of sadness & pain under the hood. They're always pretty good int he regular season & get a lot of hype but haven't had any real post-season runs since they gave the Patriots that scare in 2008. The worst part is they've had some legitimately great teams that got stuck with 7-9 wins because of special teams & general Chargerness.

 

I've read that Washington wanted to by the Washington D.C. Football Club which then would be shortened to DCFC. Got flagged by their lawyers because a certain Detroit City Football Club has that trademarked along with having the same colors. Which is my avi btw.

I would like them to figure out something fun to determine it during the Pro Bowl stuff. It'd reasonably have to be decided before free agency starts, so, the week before the Super Bowl seems right. Dont think you can get teams to play games, but, I would definitely like a draft lottery or some creative way of deciding it

In the macro sense, I get the angle, and there is under-representation among Black coaches and high ranking executives in the NFL that needs to be and will hopefully be rectified.

In the micro sense, it seems like he has hard-to-legally-prove, circumstantial evidence with both the Broncos and Giants situations that’s embarrassing for all parties implicated but not necessarily the backbone of what you’d want to build that kind of case around (or idk if it’s enough to not just get immediately dismissed in court) and a smoking gun pointing to attempted collusion and corruption during his time in Miami (while also insinuating that his ouster was more due to not going along with that than anything specifically about racial discrimination). And that’s more of why I don’t get the angle.

 

If Flores landed a HC job somewhere do y’all think he would have brought all the Miami stuff to light?
