If you cant deal with an asshole HC, good luck running an NFL team, because they're all varying degrees of assholes.

Harbaugh actually is ideal, because if he's winning you dont care how annoying he is...and if he starts losing, he's incredibly easy to fire for being himself

like I said, the 'parameters of sadness' need to be defined. Over the past 3-4 years? Yes the Jags are sadder.

Over the past 10-15 years? No the Jags are not sadder. They have 3 playoff wins in 15 years. Dolphins have 0.

I maintain that going 7-9 or 8-8 year after year is worse LONGTERM for success than bottoming out for a year or two. Hell, the Dolphins couldn't even bottom out correctly....they should have Joe Burrow right now.

It seems like you think the only parameter for sadness is playoff wins. Which is absurd in itself. Even more absurd considering the Dolphins have 20 playoff wins to the Jaguars 7. Pretty much the only argument you have is if you pretend that the entirety of both teams history is just 2005-2007.

 

But the Jaguars’ 5th best team by record (no tie in record) in the past 15 years is the Gardiner Minshew 6-10 Jaguars.

That means they have sat through 10 other Jaguars iterations demonstrably worse than the Gardiner Minshew 6-10 Jaguars!
