i've started putting real thin slices on BLT's and it's not too bad. haven't done burgers yet though. i'm scared.

When I get a really big slice on a sandwich, it grosses me out still. With LTO and mayo on a burger, a thin slice is awesome. I can't imagine eating in-n-out without tomatoes now.

If you get a good, firm tomato for a burger it is super good even if you're not that fond of tomatos. The firmness makes all the difference in the taste to me.

I think @angrycandy is the only person who remembers that I have a problem with textures and mushy stuff.

I also can't eat certain foods because of texture, oatmeal being a big one

I tried imagining this and was repulsed. I don't like tomatoes anymore... I think.

Ew yeah. I wanted to like oatmeal so badly but I couldn't get past the texture. I don't like any beans except baked beans every now and then.

I had a bunch of different types of tomatoes this weekend. Red, green, yellow. They were served with almonds which was a good combo for some reason.

I can't adequately tell what that is from the picture but if that's like the liquefied guts and stuff of a crustacean than you are missing out.

@Ken you were doing a good job but it turns out you can't even like tomatoes correctly

Eating them raw is very good

Nothing better on a sandwich than a big thick spice of tomato

Also a good breakfast dish: tomatoes & gravy

Cmon Jon, Roma are the flavorless ones you but because they're cheap. Vine is where it's at. And beefsteak. I don't think I've ever had heirloom tomatoes but I saw them in a Blue Apron commercial and they look delicious

my ratings are based on how much I hate stacking them so they might be skewed but I don't like heirloom at all.

At my work we consider beefsteak and vine ripe both the same.
