I hadn’t gotten around to watching Nathan For You so last night I had an edible and then watched the haunted house episode (one of my friends told me to start there and then circle back to the first episode) and I just about lost my mind trying to figure out if everyone involved were actors or not

I ended up watching the first three episodes as well. I’ll probably finish the whole thing. The haunted house definitely went too far for my tastes though. No clue why someone who knows me would’ve said to start there. The Hunk was way more my speed

The souvenir shop / fake movie or electronic shop / $1 TV eps are the ones I always recommend first, as they are great examples of Nathan doing a legitimate scam and then spending half the episode trying to dig out of it

The bar putting on a play to circumvent the smoking ban really captures what is so great about the show. The owner of the bar becomes a footnote by the end.
