I knew I recognized the Bad Omens name from somewhere, and now I know. Yikes.

SFTP is decent, Bad Omens I don't think I've listened to but it could be I have and they just never made an impact to me. I was really going for the Underoath + ETID one two punch, Spiritbox are fine but still have yet to really blow me away. We'll see what time I get there, might still go for the full thing for the hell of it

Despite all the cringe based on that tour, Bad Omens have a decent sound going into this new record that reminds of Sempiternal era BMTH. They will fit well with Underoath.

Sure but this is easily something they could have just announced on the spot. At least the Spiritbox taking ETID’s spot. It’s not a biggie - the vibes just seemed to be a bigger announcement IMO.

I’m very excited for spiritbox to play a longer set. Eternal Blue was a little disappointing but I adore their self titled - hope we get a good chunk of it.

couldn’t care less for SFTP though and haven’t listened to bad omens. I’ll have to revisit both but I really hope the wait from showing up for VIP to spiritbox doesn’t suck.

It just dawned on me how much “In Regards To Myself” sounds like ETID

this album still refuses to leave rotation. every day when I leave the apartment and pop in my headphones I immediately go for this record out of instinct

If I could just forget it

I always got a Botch feel from that song, and that album in general. Feels like An Anthology of Dead Ends was a big influence on their writing.

    GLOW ON

Took a while, but flipped up the volume in the car around the 3:50 mark for that punishing last bit of 'Cycle' and now we're locked in.

SFTP would be a lot more enticing to me if it had vocals other than Mickey Mouse hxc. Huge fan of Tom's guitar work though.

I was actually really into Stray's first three albums for a little bit, but fell all the way off with the record that came out in 2013 and don't listen to them whatsoever anymore.

Definitely just going to this for Underoath now and that's fine.

This is honestly incredible. I love hearing their thoughts on Erase Me and leading into this.

They need to include this as a DVD or download in the future. Love stuff like this.

Pretty sure you can download youtube videos if you just wanted to have a digital copy to watch if you were somewhere without internet.

I also now have a new-found appreciation for the album title. Makes total sense now and I love it.

PS, what's the song about the night Aaron had to call the ambulance on Spencer?

it's incredibly illuminating to hear this. part of my love of Erase Me was dictated by hearing about the process in Get Over It, so this just amplifies that kind of love for Voyeurist.

i know theyve been talking about it a lot but hearing them dive deeper into it even more sheds an illuminating light on why erase me never clicked with me. aaron playing a role in writing but not wanting to take spencer's spot on being the "lead/main" vocalist is apparent, a lot of stuff spencer is doing on erase me just sounds hokey or phoned in because its not all shit he wrote himself. voyeurist proves when they split it up a bit more evenly and aaron is fully involved with both writing and performing vocally it works much better

For the people that want to take this making of on the go there’s also a podcast version of it.

How has fan reception been to voyeurist? Obviously I love it and it seems most people here love it but outside of that I haven’t paid any attention

Most people I've talked to are positive on it, with the only real reservations being the production.
