I feel like the second one is clearly better

 

Second one is way better but I like this more than either.

 

None of those really speak to me TBH. Man, I hope this next project is good. I haven't really dug anything she's put out since Miss Anthropocene.

 

So.... one song, one soundtrack song and a feature from her "side project internet group"? Not a ton to judge anything off, haha

 

Those things, and I didn't really love the remix album or anything she's recently featured on her social media either

Guess it was that record that finally got me to subscribe. That magenta and green is gorgeous. I saw they had Sigur Ros last month and Outkast a little while ago and the urge has been strong, but this was the final straw.

Well, actually, OK, so this song, I’m not sure what I should say or not say. I always say a bunch of stupid shit and get in trouble, but either way. This is the label executive decision song. I love the record, but it’s just like, everyone’s like, what’s the deeper meaning? And it’s like, well, Nino Angelo just really had just watched Death Note and really liked it. Basically, I wrote the whole space opera thing and this is the only song that wasn’t this big narrative plot. This is the label executive decision song. Sorry. I’m just undermining the marketing strategy.

 

This song is really good.

 

production is very good but song is aggressively mediocre

 

not a fan of that at all

 

I already forgot what it sounds like

 

she’s got that progressive house sound nailed down but the songs are not there

 

kinda feels like she isn't even trying anymore

 

There has been a major drop off in quality in everything since the last record--the remix album, all the features, the singles, and all the snippets she has teased on social media--but then again, none of it has really felt authentically Grimes. Maybe when we start hearing the stuff she's proud of, it'll be good
