their musicianship and energy have been absolutely unmatched in punk music for the last 15 years. don't know how much longer they'll last but i'm fine with them being the blue nile of our era, just dropping an all-timer once a decade then dipping. "the horse" is an all-timer hardcore punk song.

 

I had a dream this album dropped and it was amazing.

man ive listened to the single nearly a dozen times. does anyone even make music like this anymore? they've always been the top of their class but now theyre like the only in their class

I've been trying not to listen to the first single too too much. I might try to hold out on listening to anything else until after the album finally drops. It's going to be a long 2 months.

 

These feel so fresh without losing what’s perfect about AWS. Love all three songs so far, so glad I pre ordered

Figure Eights is defintely different for them, but still pretty fresh and catchy. Apocalypse Porn is old school Career Suicide sounding. Love it.

 

The new direction on Figure Eight is totally my shit, it’s so emotional and vibey for them it hits like a truck. Might try flying to see them on this tour now lol

these songs are suhlammin. figure eights is some shit bro, not at all what i was expecting from this band but it rips. and apocalypse porn is just more epic goodness from them. so good

 

also they continue to have the greatest bassist in punk music history

 

imagine if we got a new strung out album this year too
