I love the vibe they've got. Perfect. Also I feel like Gunship and Dan's love of synths/80s probably played a role in shaping the direction of new Busted and I love that, haha,

It's on iTunes. I'm really hoping the B.U.S.T.E.D thing is just to make it harder to find for people so it doesn't get out there before the announcement rather than it being a serious thing, haha.

 

Also they've deleted "Coming Home" from YouTube and it's the only one available on iTunes, I think it would be super lame if they just put that song out again tomorrow with a new video rather than releasing something new.

I still like 4/6 Upon A Dead Man songs better than Coming Home though. Super pumped now it's got a finishing line in vision

 

If Coming Home is the worst song on the album I can deal with it.

 

You are completely right @SpyKi about iTunes. I tried to hear that new song and couldn't find it under Busted anywhere. Until I searched coming home and busted acronym style came up. It's gonna trick a lot of ppl less savy

 

I have a bad feeling this is going to be a sorely disappointing album

I don't have complete faith in Matt or Jimmy
But I have complete faith in Charlie's songwriting 3 projects that have done pretty good stuff in last 4yrs. I reckon he can do it with his 5th and original one

They'll always just be Busted even if they have changed the formatting of their name.

 

I think he just means cause of the added difficulty to search them on iTunes due to the different stylisation as it doesn't come up just searching Busted

James has said it'll be back to normal on iTunes soon. Also there's a tease on the website that sounds ace.

 

Not that surprising based on the vibe they're going for but there's some saxophone on the album which I'm very happy about.

Also the music from the trailer is from "New York" which is currently Charlie's favourite on the album.

OK, seems like nobody else on the internet is discussing Busted in any depth, so I've gone and made an account here! :)

SpyKi, I take it you got that New York is Charlie's favourite song from their live Facebook Q&A? I think James said his favourite was Without It, and Matt's is Kids With Computers.

I'm interested that James mentioned one of the songs having a Bruce Hornsby influence (despite alternative production on the final cut) - a couple of songs from Brandon Flowers' solo album were that style and it was one of my favourite albums of 2015.

It's basically me and Broden being the two biggest Busted stans on the internet.

 

That teaser sounds rad. It sounds like they finally got around to watching Drive 5 years late. Same with the album art. Charlie's even wearing the jacket!
