I keep thinking I'm done with superhero stuff and then something like this comes along and I feel like I'm anxiously awaiting the release of The Dark Knight all over again

 

Yeah, with a few exceptions, I'm absolutely done with the oversaturation. This movie is def one of those exceptions.

 

Keoghan made the final cut so guess we’ll see soon if that rumor was true

 

Yeah there’s no way this is going to be less than great. The question is whether it crosses into the legendary echelon

 

my spicy (or not) take is that considering reeves had more experience with big budget films like the last two PotA movies going into this than nolan had before his trilogy, i wouldn’t be surprised at all if it’s superior to batman begins

 

and yes, that is saying something

So many people are putting this film on a pedestal before it releases. I’m hoping it’s good but I’ve learned never to put very high expectations on a film before I see it.
