There's only one "big" Tooth & Nail/Solid State band in Anberlin in the line-up, which stood out to me. Something Corporate/Jack's Mannequin would also fit.

    England.

I suppose you’d expect to see New Found Glory, Less Than Jake and Simple Plan on there. Unless I missed them

Seems incomplete without an Andrew McMahon slot, tbh. Would have been a perfect opportunity for a one-off SoCo reunion!

    1 Day
    11am-11pm
    65 Bands
    3 Stages

Each band will have about 30 minutes to set up AND play. This is a logistical nightmare. Lineup is absolutely crazy though!

I hope there will be some sort of pre-festival events on Thursday/Friday, and maybe even something on Sunday.

I'm curious as to why they would make this one day. Aside from the obvious time conflicts, good luck getting from one stage to another. I went to the Final Warped in AC and due to the crowds it took like 20 mins at least just to move from one stage to the stage at the other end. I'd much more consider going to this if it were a two day event. Would be super stressful to enjoy this knowing you need to be monitoring the time every 2 minutes.

    Give what you can.

I'm assuming there will be a VIP tent for you and anyone else who can show proof of having 50k+ myspace friends. And yeah, I've got a xanga out there somewhere, but my brain has been merciful and has totally wiped away whatever user name I had associated with it.

Haha I had a "I Quit Myspace" moment that lasted like 5 days and I restarted my account and lost all my "friends". Then quit for good after I met my now wife in 2009. I don't have any social media accounts anymore but still have select photos of my "scene" days buried in Photobucket accounts and on my Google drive. Only bring them up for a chuckle from time to time. I show my boys and they kind of just look at me weird.

Best keep that username in the closet or buried etc. Haha

They could have a "Myspace Stage" here. I believe they had a short lived record label and Sherwood put out an album on that if I'm not mistaken.

Sure did! A Different Light came out on their label. I believe the first 2 Kate Vogele albums did too!

My theory on how this is all going to be in one day is that it's just a massive "All my friends are in bar bands" performance

Good calls on all the bands missing. Mad at myself for not thinking of McMahon lol

the more I think about it…is the intention just to have a sort of “live” emo night where all these bands are just playing their sing along hits, whether it’s 2 songs or 10 songs? And the draw is you get this money for minimal work while hanging out with all the friends you grew up touring with? Etc

Apparently buddy from senses fail said he was unaware of playing it lol

    Things have changed.

A large portion of the bands were told very little about it except when and where it was, and like two other acts.

There are 3 stages, so 20 bands per stage. There are 12 hours per stage. If you assume every band can set up in 8 minutes after the one prior to them tears down in 7 minutes... you've got 21 minute sets for everyone if time is equal. But you're not giving The Linda Lindas the same amount of time as Paramore, etc... so I legit do not see how this is possible to work. If you have rotating stages, it jumps to 36 minutes, give or take rotation time. But still assumes you're giving My Chem and Meet Me @ The Altar the same amount of time.
