I saw ETID there in 2018…did something happen at that show I don’t remember?

I think you're overestimating ETID and underestimating AOF

Pretty much kidding here but I’m definitely worried about him despite the bad joke, he has been in this weird head space for a while now and while yes we don’t fully know what’s going on, it is worth noting that the entire band was willing to leave because of him and prevent him from claiming the band. Something definitely is up with him and while I’m not gonna make any accusations about his mental health or make claims about what he should do, I really hope he turns out alright.

All ETID all the time for the next few weeks.

I would have totally agreed with you but I was recently proven wrong about how big AOF is so I guess we'll see lol

I was only going to the UO tour for ETID so I hope it's someone good that replaces them but also probably won't go if it's not so not a big deal either way to me

Yeah, that’s all fair for sure. There definitely has to be something wrong on Keith’s end if even Mitch and Goose are leaving.

More than the band getting back together - I just hope all the guys make up. Kind of breaks my heart thinking about Keith never talking to his own brother or Andy.

AOF is very big up here. I’d say they’re a tad bigger than ETID in the US, but probably a bit below UO

i don't want to speak for canada but UO is unquestionably the biggest of the three in the states. they cracked into the mainstream in a way neither of the other bands have

It felt like a huge scene moment when Define The Great Line came in at #2 the week it came out. Lot of talk on the site at the time.

Would have never guessed Alexisonfire was that big in the states, but maybe the Dallas Green connection would explain it

Considering AOF has played very limited shows in the states post reunion and their popularity was dwindling here before they went on Hiatus, I’d definitely say ETID would have been a bit bigger draw for support. AOF can draw at festivals where people will travel to see them since they don’t play shows often but I don’t know about an entire tour. AOF was never a huge band in their heyday. I saw them mostly supporting other bands. They didn’t do a lot of headliners before the farewell tour that was in smaller venues. Spiritbox has much more momentum than either and I wouldn’t be surprised if they were bumped up to direct support.

Remembering the unhinged show they played in Santa Ana in 2017 with no opener. Just two sets with a 30 minute break in between. Some UFC fighter was tossing people off the stage and Stevis from Chariot/Fever did guest vox on Floater.

Ebolorama is such an awesome opener and I've never even seen them play Kill The Music so that's also awesome
