Tim Allen sucks but The Santa Clause is one of my favorite Christmas movies of all time, so I'm cautiously intrigued (even though it'll probably be terrible like the sequels)

 

Also, Home Improvement is tied with The Price Is Right for my "favorite shows to watch when home sick from school when I was a kid"

Long story short she’s turned into a fan and this past week she showed me her Christmas presents: all of the System of a Down albums—on CD. Like, she was excited that she had physical copies of them on CD.

A SolSea-verified NFT project on the Solana blockchain, Doodled Dragons, touted that they would distribute all profits “straight to charities protecting animals on the brink of extinction”. They announced on Twitter that they would be donating $30,000, “our first donation”, to the World Wildlife Fund. Two hours later, they tweeted, “actually. fuck that. our charity will instead now be... my bank account. cya nerds.” They deleted the Twitter account shortly after.

 

Ok I just got around to looking at the Supreme Court OSHA mandate decision and it’s worse than I thought. First of all of course it’s another unsigned opinion from these fucking cowards. But it’s just a made up doctrine, this “major questions” thing which is defined as decisions with large economic and political significance is going to hamstring almost all meaningful environmental laws. I bet this is why they agreed to hear the Clean Power Plan even though it doesn’t even exist anymore, they’re going to put all meaningful environmental regulations in jeopardy. Pack the court! And if the liberal justices had any spine they’d be calling for code red on this court, not just writing dissents.

 

Is there any chance banning congress from owning stocks actually has a chance of getting anywhere?

Would be kinda awesome, even if its not intentional on Pelosi's part, if we can weaponize the rights hatred of Pelosi to get enough of them to support such a bill
