I have not. Always heard good things about the first 2. Not a fan of FPS at all but obviously make exceptions so I may try it some day

I would say Dead Space is far scarier than Bioshock. Besides that, I would say Alien Isolation is up there as well. The music alone just sends chills down your spine.

Rocket League is still the best game released in the past few years. These free updates are amazing, the Rumble one is so much fun.

Condemned and Condemned 2 will always be the scariest games I played when I was younger.

Condemned 1 was great and scary as hell while Condemned 2 was just sort of meh. Plus, they changed up gameplay and added MP...no bueno.

I actually enjoyed Condemned 2. And the MP for it was surprisingly enjoyable, I had a great time with it. Single player was, the original was better for sure.

  7. As creepy as it is, I wouldn't put the BioShock franchise in the horror genre. I'd equate the fear of a Big Daddy attacking to the fear of a Deathclaw attacking, and that's more "oh shit I'm going to die" than "holy fuck that thing looks scary." The atmosphere is more fascinating than scary to me. I got five minutes into Dead Space two years ago and haven't touched it since.

When people say that the PC version of Bioshock will be upgraded, does that include Steam? I bought them a few months ago but have been sitting on them since the remaster was announced. Will it just auto-update?

They'll probably pop up in your library as another version of the game to download.

I guess this is probably a good time to finish Infinite. I was probably 20 minutes from beating the game and never finished. I really liked it too.

If I recall correctly Minerva's Den was more well received then the actual game was. So yeah, probably.

I've never actually played 2, I'll be diving in with the remaster.

I have never played any of them. I was not even aware of the DLC for the second and third game (Steam does a weirdly inconsistent job of letting you know this).

  16. Bioshock 1 is one of my all-time favorites. Not sure why I never finished Infinite, but I don't feel like digging up the 360 just to do it.

I'm just going to consider this game I played my first official ranked conquest game because my first ever was a disaster.

but what a performance my team had and I was super pumped at how I played. We got the win and now only 8 more games to qualify.

I think all that extra time I spent playing conquest has helped me out a lot.

i have like ~800 games in my backlog but i actually kind of find it reassuring. sometimes i boot up a game i never thought of since buying and have an incredible emotional experience. i like the idea of having that kind of moment waiting for me, even if it means i might not play everything i get (i buy way late so with deep discounts/in bundles so thankfully it's not like i burn money)

Also I really just love that in most esports, commentators always constantly use the word synergy.

It's just a fantastic word. I've heard it a few times this morning during the Overwatch World Cup.

I tried Lords of the Fallen since its free on Psplus and in about 10 minutes I realized it's an extremely easy version of Dark Souls, so I turned it off and turned on Dark Souls 3 because I still haven't finished it and I don't want to learn bad habits.
