Twisted Metal 2 was one of the first games I ever owned, and I loved it

 

A top 5 game for me during the PS1 era

 

it's a "you'll believe it when you see it"-kinda thing. the only thing that can sell you on VR beyond your own curiosity/imagination is VR itself. And by that I mean play Alyx.

 

I’ve used PlayStation VR before. I don’t like the headset you have to wear and I have no interest in any type of gaming that requires a headset that goes on over half your face.

 

Yeah, I just can't excited for VR. Every game I see that looks great or interest me (Beat Saber, Half Life Alyx, Robinson) I always would rather just play it with a controller in the end as opposed to a whole new device that takes up space and costs as much a new console. I would have probably bought all those games if they were available on regular consoles with a controller, but no interest in paying hundreds of dollars to have access to them.

If it ever becomes smaller, cheaper, more mainstream, I may dip in. But for now, I barely have time to game on what I have haha

 

Great, another game to download, launch, close, and uninstall a year later. Haha, too many gamessss

 

No confirmation on whether it will be bundled with GamePass yet but it’s still very exciting.

 

U+ is very buggy on PC but it’s got a lot of great games on it.

Hoping it’ll be bundled with game pass like Play is

Ubisoft confirmed + won’t be bundled with GPU and will be a separate subscription

I wish I could gift you that as well but my pockets are running dry after Christmas and my sons birthday is right around the corner. The old man is 6.

 

Yeah, I think this is the big perk of it coming to Xbox.

 

Hopefully at some point Ubisoft connect/plus whatever it’s called theses days comes to ps5 just like ea play did. Hopefully it’s not 5 years later like it was for ea play

speaking of EA apparently the dragon age trilogy is on sale for hella cheap on origins right now

im very tempted to snag valhalla right now for 30 bucks. after playing unity i would like to play a newer AC game and compare and write about it a little bit, but ive already played origins and didnt like the vibe of odyssey. the viking setting seems much more my shit, and while im fully aware of the typical downside of AC/Ubisoft game design these days, i think i'll still get a lot of enjoyment out of it

 

it's basically the only AC game I've played and I had so much fun with it that I cleared the map 100%
