I want a few red cards to make this more interesting.

Yeah Rooney was far too slow off the blocks to really challenge. Just a standard keeper sliding tackle. They always look a little bad to me.

He slid into a 50/50 studs up. That's a foul anywhere on the pitch, keeper or not.

I probably deserved to miss this for assuming I could sleep in because why wouldn't be the late game. But then I remembered the EPL never schedules big matches as Americans sports would.

It's no 5-0 but still a great match.

Thought Man United would equalize the way the second half started. But simply out played in every facet in the first half.

that was a great match all the same. Deserved win for city on the whole. I think we were probably as good in the second half as them, maybe could've scored but they also could have. First half was a blow out though. Fortunate to go in one down and not 5.

I am however a lot happier in the loss than last season, it was nice to see the manager change things and try make a difference after realising his fuck ups in the starting line up. Herrera was great, I think that midfield has to be the one going forward.

All in all great match, we're still a couple of steps behind the other top teams, but if we do our jobs against the smaller teams we should be in a fine position. Encouraging if disappointing.

I was just thinking that. Didn't tweet much about it, either. His new lady must be calming him down.

I wonder if Joe Hart watched that game with a bit a of a smirk.

Southampton are our bogey team but I feel confident. Hopefully the new players make a difference.
