Idk....I think i'd rather take that 800 billion and do two (or three?) other things with it. Paid family leave, expand Medicare services, and....idk, make community colleges free? I need a list of all the ideas and what their costs are. But doing those three things would do great things for 3 big voting blocs....middle class families, seniors, and lower income young adults.

Yyyyep. got hte emails yesterday and today about it.

75% of me writes it off mostly as dumb nonsense. The other 25% of me works with teens who are clearly at times unstable and/or would make really stupid decisions based on social media BS.

 

Yea, the school in my town closed due to a direct threat made.

My son’s entire school district shut down on Monday and went remote for the rest of the week out of an abundance of caution. Basically, they want kids to be ensured they’ll be home and alive for the holidays. Pretty sick of this shit.

 

That's a good question; I would assume you'd still feel some form of discomfort, but who knows how this tech works, haha

we had a lot of parents hold kids home today it seems. I'm missing about 45% of my Period 6 class right now. Was missing a little less than that in my Period 5.

 

My school district started Winter Break today, so we didn't send anything out specifically about the Dec. 17 challenges, but so far this year, we've sent several emails to parents about social media threats and challenges and it's getting out of control and is only going to continue to get worse.

I'm only missing two kids and one of them is quarantined, so basically missing one. However, it's an elementary school and I think the threats are more focused on high schools.
