They released lists before people got the chance to see it I think which is silly

 

Branagh, Campion, Gyllenhaal, Spielberg, Villenueve are a solid group for Best Director though tbh (haven't seen The Lost Daughter yet but assuming it's as good as it appears to be based on the reviews it's gotten)

Yeah I'd swap Spielberg out of that group for PTA personally. Loved WSS but he doesn't need another nomination for it imo.
