Don’t let Spotify fool you this morning - there is NOT a new Sherwood EP

 

the new 20StoriesFalling EP is fiiiiiiiiiiinally out!

We wrote all of these songs as intrumentals because there was a period of time where we didn't have a PA system at our jam space. As we wrote each song, we'd practice them all the way through, one after the other with no breaks. Each song flowed into the next really well. After we recorded each of the instrumentals, our drummer left the band to move to the east coast to go to school. So after searching for awhile and trying out a couple different people, we finally found a new drummer. We put the EP on hold while we got our drummer up to speed, and then COVID happened, and not only that, we also lost our practice space because the city decided to demolish it to make room for new apartments, sigh... So while we didn't have a practice space and we were all in quarantine, our singer recorded vocals over these songs. And now the EP is finally mixed and done! It feels like lifetimes ago since we wrote these songs, and we are so excited to finally share them all with you now.

I really hope you all enjoy it!

 

Seems like there were some errors getting it on streaming last week, but Saint 44 is now available on Apple Music and Spotify.

Saint 44 is back on streaming platforms, so that's a good thing for today, otherwise not much for me - really love that new American Football release, as well as a shared single by Kim Gordon and J Macsis. I'll probably check out some new live recordings too.
