It's more like a collection of large hub-areas that you unlock as you go.

you get access to subsequent areas by completing story missions. once you complete the story you will be able to go anywhere.

There's a sale on PS for The Game Awards and it's basically the PS5 games that were on sale for black Friday with the same discounts

 

Even on the older Xbox hardware, I’m surprised how immersive the game feels… it really kinda snuck up on me.

I’m between the 4th and 5th mission and so far they’re nailing it, as far as the ambience goes. Lots of little touches that are going a long way for me.

Resident Evil movie was okay, but it made me wish more than ever that they'd remake the first game in the same style as the 2 and 3 remakes. I'd love to explore the mansion without the game's stupid camera angles.

 

well, 4 is next. I doubt they'll remake 5 or 6 so maybe they'll go back to that well after, though I am personally not particularly excited by the idea of a RE1 remake remake.

 

Just make that the pre show, then no silly twenty minute breaks in between awards
