How many festivals of alternative/indie-leaning music can LA support? I mean, super cool that all these can happen here and there's enough people but, damn, I'm in market #1 here in NYC and all we have is Gov Ball booking hip-hop/pop to appeal to 17-year-olds at this point.

I just realized Mayhem is in the line-up. I know they have played the Barcelona edition of the festival along with other Black Metal and Death Metal acts, but they feel out of place in the LA version of the festival

I've been wanting to see Movement for a while now, and their Illinois date is in Joliet, ugh. Really wish I had a car :(

I have a car and driving there from around the city sucks :-p still not as bad as driving to cursed Tinley Park.

BTW there is a Metra line that will get within a short walking distance from the venue, if I'm not mistaken. You might need to skip the headliner to get to the last one though.

Mayhem and Machine Girl look REALLY out of place here.

Knocked Loose and movements surely is an interesting pairing. But I’ll be making a trip to Columbus for it.

That’s a really left field booking for them.

I admittedly haven't paid attention to The Smashing Pumpkins in a really long time, but have they been using that wretched logo for a long time? Honestly if the photo wasn't attached, I wouldn't have even been able to read that font.

Cool that Fall Out Boy is starting to make the rounds on big festival lineups. They'd be a great fit for both Governors Ball and Lolla these days.

Has anybody seen any updates on vax requirements for events/festivals in 2022? I just looked at Hangout's & it doesn't look like there's a requirement for anything yet. I know Starland Ballroom (AEG Presents/The Bowery Presents venue) in Jersey will be allowing negative tests starting sometime in January

this is pretty fucking dreadful, considering Hangout was a jam/rock festival that has somehow morphed into an MTV Spring Break bro-nado.

Why even book Tame Impala if you’re not going to book one other psych act the entire weekend?

Also, it’s 2021, how does Zedd still get that billing? Dude hasn’t been relevant in 4-5yrs.
