The only personal comment I feel comfortable making is that I do not think I could be married to a QAnon person unless I shared *some* portion of their beliefs.

 

Unfortunate but true, you'd be very surprised what some people don't consider a dealbreaker.

 

i personally agree but i think there’s a fair amount of people that just don’t care about politics one way or another enough to not be bothered by a spouse/relative/whatever having a different viewpoint than theirs

Yep, and I can even understand this. I have conservative family that I disagree with and still love. QAnon is just another ballpark entirely, at least for me

also notable that by all accounts she didn’t really start to develop that insanity until 2016. pretty sure they were married for some time with a kid prior to that? not so easy to just leave all that behind and it’s pretty naive of all you saying otherwise

Just for reference, I was the guy who didn’t get Jordan’s stupid politic joke post before the election, who then asked about it and wound up in a full day spat on Twitter with him last year. Only until he main feed tweeted at me and got his followers to start sending me hate messages did we become civil and then made an adult conversation happen in the DM’s. He was cordial, but very much so by the end of it, it was clear some of that QAnon cool-aid made it into his system. During that I speculated that stuff effected the band, and now it sadly doesn’t seem like it was far off at this point.

Do I wanna see this band done? Of course not. I hold them high on a pedestal. But the situation is extremely sad, out in the open now, and can’t be ignored by fans. This is a pivotal moment in the ETID timeline that really doesn’t seem possible to come back from if it is as bad as it looks on the surface.

When I found out that his wife was a Trump/Qanon person - I was worried that he would succumb to it as well. If he has, even just a little, that would be a massive bummer.

 

I’ve been trying to stay out of this thread bc there’s way too much personal info going around that feels wrong to indulge in. That said, at least 95% sure Jordan is not married anymore
