Also isn't Sloss Furnaces like a 1/3 of the size of Douglass Park, if not more

IIRC Riot Fest had about 40K while FF had like 11-12K. And yeah, Sloss is much much smaller than Douglass Park and you didn't have to go hiking every time you went to a different stage which was great.

Walking at riot fest is nothing compared to lolla and going between the 2 main stages. It’s like a mile walk

Especially this year, it has been fine tuned pretty nicely over the years.

not a name I planned on seeing on festivals, but MIKE WATT is playing This Ain't No Picnic four weeks before Riot

He’d be a good add. A LOT of those bands on that lineup would be a good add, tbh

Yeah, most of these are definitely Pitchfork grabs. But a few would be sick for Riot. Descendents being the obvious one, but Deafheaven, Nothing, Sleep, and Phoebe would be awesome

EDIT: Just realized Sparks are on the lineup too, holy shit. They’d also be pretty fun

I mean, the top three names (the Strokes, LCD, Le Tigre) are all potential. I think Riot has the best shot at Le Tigre of the three, though. I could see LCD going with Lolla.

I could definitely see Deafheaven doing Riot at some point.

Same weekend as Riot. Probably NIN is out, although there has been bands that plays California and Riot the same weekend

I would legitimately cry if it was The Cure… also, Alexisonfire. In the same year. Those are my two bucket lists.

i dont see toooo much crossover here, but im posting to note that at this mid sized fest FOB isnt a main headliner, which i found interesting.

Is Halsey at the same headliner level as Tame Impala and Post Malone?

What about Gorillaz as the 3rd headliner?

I know they are most likely to be on Lolla, but they are playing a bunch of festivals next year around the globe, even some mid tier ones.

I'd rather Blur tbh, but I don't think it's either... who knows?

Gorillaz headline Riot, Blur aftershow at Metro. If only...

I don’t care what anyone says, Phoebe Bridgers as the third headliner would be incredible.

She could easily do a venue show early next year then Riot later in the year.

She proved herself headlining Pitchfork this year, which was one of my highlight shows of this year.

Don't want this to sound mean, but she will probably have a bigger crowd than Bikini Kill.

She would probably have the second biggest crowd behind MCR honestly

Unfortunately I have a feeling she will be at Lolla this year
