Re: Foo Fighters Minneapolis

 

i'm genuinely curious what covid policy the foo fighters and a large stadium are having a disagreement about for a show 9 months from now.

 

It's super weird, because the University of Minnesota runs the stadium, and they have a vaccine mandate for their student body, so I can't imagine what they'd disagree on.

 

I saw Brian Wilson live a few years ago with my dad and it was amazing. I'm sure my old man will go to the show on this new tour, so I will probably join him.

 

Hope Foo somehow ends up at the Armory instead.

 

Why does this have to be the same night as the ETID show AND the Shame show?

 

Would love to hit up the Irvine date. Brian Wilson is a bucket list act for me

Just read this article about new US travel requirments that says: "...they are debating a controversial proposal to require all travelers, including U.S. citizens, to self-quarantine for seven days, even if their test results are negative."

If this pass, probably lots of tours will be affected.

Has anyone see Weezer? How are they? They are headlining the festival I’m going to Saturday. I plan on leaving after AJR which play right before them I’m wondering if Weezer is worth sticking around for

 

Part of me wishes I could only ever see Weezer live

 

I’d stay for Weezer. They’re fun and they play a good mix of crowd favorites. But I would also stay for them in this scenario because I have no idea who AJR is but I like Weezer enough sooo… haha

 

Weezer is pretty fun. If it’s a festival set, it’ll likely be very singles heavy which is nice for more casual fans.

 

I kinda hate just about everything from Weezer post Pinkerton, but if I was already at a show they were playing, I'd definitely stick around.

 

Weezer was tons of fun at hella mega. I recommend you stay.

 

Weezer is pretty fun live. If they’re playing a festival, it’ll probably be a “greatest hits” setlist. So if you’ve never seen them, it should be alright. I’d stick around if I were you

Upsaul/Daisy the Great/Girlfriends/Mod Sun/Girl in Red/Yungblud/Bastile/All Time Low/AJR/Weezer.

My two main reasons of going are Glass Animals and Girl In Red everyone else is just a plus but since I’m not a huge of fun Weezer and I’m going to be tired by the end of day two I was thinking of leaving early but think you guys have convinced me not too

 

There's also a Maryland date of the Foo Fighters show on 5/16 that isn't on the poster or included in any of the announcements for some reason for people that may be relevant to. Had to find out through an email from Ticketmaster

I jumped on that presale though, finally seeing those guys for the first time!!
