There is a book written that tells the events of Bioshock prior to the fall of Rapture. I would love them to do a prequel.

They again made updates to the progression in Halo. You can now earn a level in the battle pass by playing 6 games as part of the daily challenge

they also made it so if you buy a colorway it applies to all armors. it'll be interesting to see if it applies to armors you unlock in the future...

 

Officially 8 days left until we get our hands on the campaign and from what I hear, it’s awesome.

 

The setting for the bioshock is amazing

 

The only Bioshock I’ve played is Infinite and I wasn’t a big fan of it.

 

Really interested to see what they do with the lore/campaign for Infinite. They haven’t really said much

 

And then 343 takes away Fiesta in the update. Ridiculous.

 

Player's Log: Abzu. 100% complete. Beautiful game, and doesn't overstay its welcome by artificially inflating levels. Some collectibles were a little annoying to find, but overall nothing too distressing.

Next up: Virginia!

I seen there’s a big post on 343 forums from fans about adding it in and keeping it permanent.

 

Bioshock is my favorite game and the game I've replayed the most. About once a year I get the urge to run through it again. The atmosphere and the lore never get old to me, and it feels like I always pick up on some new details I didn't notice before.

 

infinite was one of the first video game stories that really gave me a lot to think about and fucked with my head a bit

I’m pretty much the same way with games and movies, really rare for me to watch more than once.

 

I have mostly replayed remasters: Bioshock, Batman, DmC, etc

 

Yeah I’ve replayed them mostly because remasters or ports.

I think the only game I’ve actively replayed is FFX and Dark Souls trilogy.

 

I think the days of replaying games is done for me for two reasons:
1. I am a completetionist and I dedicate a lot of time and energy to each game. So I move from one to the next. By the way, NG+ is just outright annoying
2. The sheer number of games coming out now is ridiculous compared to when Bioshock was first released.

 

Some games are definitely “comfort games” for me and I end up replaying them over and over because I enjoy it more than having to focus on something new. I play RE4 like once a year for example lol.

 

Pretty sure I will play Binding of Issac until I die

 

The Bioshock games are really all I replay with any regularity. I can't imagine ever going more than a couple years without at least playing through the 1st one.

The Mass Effect trilogy I've also played several times, but more like once every 5 years (which I will be doing again when I get Legendary Edition). I used to replay more when I had more time and less money for new games, and there are some older games that have a nostalgia factor that I have gone back to or plan to eventually, but the only more recent games I expect to replay are things like Last of Us part 2, Uncharted 4, and God of War. Really narrative based, (mostly) linear games.
