Pre pandemic JR said they were coming to OKC. I actually think they will be out this way sooner rather than later.

 

I don't recall ever hearing that but would love it. Yeah Dallas/Garland/whatever isn't far really but it's a bit far on a weeknight.

 

Yeah I think LCA being our only arena in the Detroit metro area makes it tough. They could do Van Andel but they probably want to hit Detroit proper first.

 

Meanwhile, WWE is still actively doing house shows on the regular in Syracuse and Rochester in shit arenas, lol

I just spent an hour arguing with my long time friend who is the epitome of an internet WWE stan and hates AEW. It was fucking exhausting.

Even my mom who was the epitome of the "55+ year old casual WWE fan" demo who for years just watched WWE out of habit and never watches any other wrestling has finally said "i just can't watch it anymore, it's gotten too stupid".

My dad and I are pushing to get her into AEW but she's stubborn.

I wanted to go to the NJPW strong tapings in Seattle, but my god the ticket prices are crazy. Tickets for the first two rows are double the price they were for the Super J Cup which had a much stronger lineup. $160 for a first row ticket is insane. I could go to the or three Defy shows for that cost

They're doing B1G1 deals in Baltimore for their holiday tour. Amazing to think that 5 years ago, when KO won the title on RAW, I had to pay like 2x face value for seats at that

 

I watched the first 1:36 of raw and it felt like 5 hours. It was also very strange.

You had Liv blaming Becky’s big contract for the reason Sarah and Ruby were released. You had Edge tease matchups with AJ and Finn only for Miz to come out. And they referenced the promo from AEW. And also said that Miz was to blame for Morrisons release. Then you had Vince and Austin Theory say a segment was terrible
