A bunch of good points above.

Nine is so good. Such a catchy record. Well produced too. I think Neighbourhoods is too AvA spacey and wish they let themselves hve a few more songs like Aftwr Midnight on there. The absence of their friend and producer Jerry does feel like it hurt that record.

Yeah I love bottom of the ocean. Reminds me of +44.

He definitely wouldn’t have allowed them to go with the tones they settled with considering the way he was always so focused on dialing in a clean/clear tone and then building on top of that. It would be so interesting to see how he would’ve embraced the digital developments in production around that time and in present day too since he was a huge amp and mic guy. Still a major loss to the music industry. Damn.

I would pay decent money to never see another YouTube or whoever do a "what would this sound like with Tom" lol

Can someone sum up what it apparently says in the comments of that post? I can't see any for some reason

The biggest takeaways are when Travis was visiting Mark after learning about his cancer, Tom randomly showed up at Mark’s house too not knowing Travis was going to be there. They all hung out for a few hours and had a big time heart to heart about everything. And Mark hasn’t thought of the future of the band but is open to anything and mentions maybe going with a 4 member band.

A Blink-182 and Avril Lavigne tour would be pretty dope. It’s totally possible. I’d pay some $$$$ to see that.

Mark wearing an Atticus t shirt in his IG post gives me all the feels. Can we go back to 2001?

I was at Leeds and Tom sounded awful right? He butchered First Date and overall sounded wasted.

I did see them again on the actual tour and he did sound a lot better.

Dumpweed from this performance is my personal Tom live low point, I absolutely hate it lol

I've been pleasantly surprised with how progressive Tom seems on Twitter, especially lately. Not that I thought he wouldn't be, it's just good to see

  18. My list of bottom 5 Blink songs is pretty concrete:

    pretty little girl
    california
    bottom of the ocean
    love is dangerous
    good old days

Good old days is nothing special but I can't fathom This Is Home above it lol

    This Is Home
    Pretty Little Girl
    Love Is Dangerous
    One Good Reason
    Snake Charmer

Those are pretty concrete for me lol

  20. “This is Home” at least has a kind of fun chorus to sing. Same with “Give Me One Good Reason.”

The verses on “Reason” though are a big woof, for sure haha. It’s definitely my least favorite on TOYPAJ. Even against “Shut Up.”

“Snake Charmer” has the best moment on Neighborhoods. That bridge rules.

  21. I really like snake charmer.

  22. It’s in my top 5 fav on Neighborhoods, if not top 3, haha. But really, that’s not saying thaaaat much since I don’t really listen to that album at all.

I hate the Home chorus. Might be Tom's worst verses since Reason for that matter haha

Best bridge on Neighborhoods is a low bar haha, Charmer bridge is definitely good but it's more Tom lyrics that sink that one beyond saving for me

This is Home's lazy guitar riff ruins it for me. Love Is Dangerous' riff saves the song for me since I don't care for the lyrics.

I love Good Old Days too. Solid dlx track. That whole CA/CA DLX combo is such a solid summer time feel. I will never forget the blink buzz that came with that whole era. It reminded me of the buzz that came with TOYPAJ when that was dropping.

  25. My bottom 10 list would also include Happy Days, Fighting the Gravity, Strings, Give Me One Good Reason, and Natives.

But if interludes counted, I’d switch out Natives with the Hearts All Gone interlude. Talk about a waste of time. So boring.
