Did Nebraska have a QB named Adrian Martinez right before this one? I feel like that’s been the QB’s name for like 8 years now for some reason.

Ducks decided death by Bulldog or Buckeye wasn’t worth it, can’t blame them.

Can Ohio State skip the Big Ten title game and just advance to the playoff? Watching them bludgeon the Badgers to death again isn’t needed, really.


Does literally anyone think Michigan has a chance next week? Not just because of how Ohio State played but because it’s just yeah, OSU owns Michigan the last decade and Michigan being top 5 is just gonna boost OSU to #2

i’m gonna be honest — I like the chances of two loss Bama getting a bid more than I like the chances of ND

and the level of mental gymnastics it would take to put ND over UGA barring them losing out would be astounding

 

South Carolina is bowl eligible!

 

Notre Dame have a tougher strength of schedule than Bama by a good margin.

 

I will never believe Notre Dame is better than Alabama. And I will NEVER believe a Wisconsin QB should be in the playoffs.

 

Notre Dame are frauds and will show it again if included

 

Whoever convinced Anthony Brown he was a quarterback is a bad person

 

I think that’s more of a function of Bama having a FCS team and New Mexico St on their schedule than anything else — if you gave them Navy and Toledo instead (ND’s two non-P5/non-Cincy games), I don’t think anything would change

ND also only has 1 win against a top 25 team (Wisconsin, who might not stay ranked if they got bodied by OSU/Michigan in the Big 10 Championship), barely beat Toledo, and beat FSU in OT

 

That being said, I don’t think either a hypothetical 2-loss Alabama or any ROS outcome of Notre Dame should be playoff teams, and team #4 often ends up being an imposter in a 4 team playoff. Sometimes there’s a weird thing where a deserving #3 is left out in a 2 team playoff, but rarely is there something where a 12+1 format doesn’t wrap up pretty nicely

pls don’t expand the playoff any further :(

 

Bama has struggled as well. Florida was a 3 point game and they’re terrible this year (nearly lost to a bad FCS team last week). Arkansas and Tennessee were all in it late. Notre Dame’s loss is also better than Bama’s.

I have a feeling Georgia is going to beat Bama by a big enough margin where this comparison won’t matter anyway

 

but the #4 seed has won multiple times…

 

two teams from the same conference shouldn’t make the playoffs. That ain’t mental gymnastics
