This tour routing makes no fucking sense whatsoever. Five Michigan dates? I get they're from there, but that seems like a bit much.

Edit: Wow, they are actually playing the Aragon in Chicago. No way they can fill that up in 2022.

 

There's a lot of dates on Ticketmaster and the venues they're playing are huge. I guess they blew up with Popular Monster

 

That weird 5 day gap between Portland & Phoenix and the weird week-long gap between Phoenix & Denver makes me wonder if they’re gonna be on Coachella 2022

Kinda sucks that HH keeps getting billed 3rd and 4th for these tours and they end up doing a set of like 6-7 songs. With a band their size why bother even with this?

 

Probably since they were supposed to be on it before

 

I can't say how it did from a commercial point of view but artistically it was WAY too invested in these long epics without any counter-balancing via some trashy 70's bangers.

 

Probably because FIR is a different era/scene of post hardcore and (I guess somewhat?) a different audience for them. The last few bands they’ve toured with/opened for (Silverstein, New Found Glory, Senses Fail, Bayside) were all around the same era (mid-2000’s) And felt more like “we’re trying to win back some old followers.” But this feels like “alright, now let’s try to get some new people over”
