Weezer is cool. As much as I'm not interested in the current version of the band, they've put out like, four albums that I like a lot and return to with at least semi-regularity. I can still get a lot out of those albums.

 

The Lawrence Arms are soooo much better than The Menzingers. Maybe that’s why I don’t like The Menzingers as much as everyone else. Because I know who the Larry Arms were first.

 

This thread is like a bunch of people who used to be in an improv group together trying to out-bit each other.

matt apodaca. co-host of how did this get played, producer for most of the earwolf podcasts, and pops up as a guest on CBB/doughboys and a bunch of others. also hosts the weezer pod as mentioned.

 

Weezer is the only band that I can think of where their "bad" music is part of the charm. Weezer fans regularly shit on over half of their discography, but if anyone who isn't a fan tries to insult it too they get pounced on lol
