If they keep delaying it, maybe the studio will just forget it exists altogether.

I’ll watch it because it’s inevitably going to be in the MCU directly or indirectly

Putting Leto aside, I don't see what's going to separate this from being just another vampire movie.

Most of the appeal of Morbius to me is the weird places it takes Spider-Man.

Without him, this is basically Venom with a less interesting hero.

It being a vampire movie is one of the main reason I’ll still watch it. A big budget vampire film is very rare.

I was thinking who was robbed as Morbius and obviously it's Wes Bentley but also they maybe they shouldn't have made this ableist movie

So there are elements from Raimi’s films, Weeb’s films, Venom, and MCU Spider-Man.

    Sony is going crazy

Is it ableist? I thought the point of Morbius is that his blood disease is killing him, not that he's trying to cure his disability.

probably true thematically, the trailers make his disability look pitiable though

There are a few things wrong about this movie (like making a film about a Spider-Man villain without Spider-Man), but idk how it’s abliest when the main character is a doctor trying to find a cure to help himself and others.

This looks like it would’ve been delightfully dumb fun with literally anyone else in the lead role. It existing in a bizarre liminal space between every Sony continuity, in a way that confuses and annoys MCU dorks, makes me especially happy.

Unfortunately, it stars a terrible actor who allegedly creeps on young girls, which is a pretty significant problem to have.

I just don't understand how he keeps getting work in Hollywood.. Must have sold his soul to the devil at some point early on in his career.
